Day 1

Check into the hotel at any time after 3 PM.
Noon – 6 PM: Visit the welcome table in the hotel lobby.
7-8 PM: Welcome reception at the hotel, with 1 complimentary drink* per person (your choice of sparking wine, or soft drink).
The rest of the evening at your leisure. Dinner is at your own expense.

Day 2

7-8:30 AM: Buffet breakfast at the hotel’s ARAZ restaurant.
9 AM – 5 PM: Full-day city tour with strudel-making demonstration*; includes lunch with 1 complimentary drink per person, admission fees, local taxes, round-trip transportation and an English-speaking guide. See below for details and restrictions.

• 8:45 AM:Meet with your guide at the hotel lobby area.
• 9 AM: Depart from the hotel and transfer to the Hungarian Parliament building.
• Enjoy a guided shared tour inside the Parliament building.
• From there, you’re off to Castle District.
• Walk around Castle District, visit the Fisherman’s Bastion and Matthias Church.
• Next, enjoy your 3-course lunch at Reteshaz restaurant followed by a strudel-making demonstration*; includes 1 complimentary drink per person (your choice of coffee, tea, wine, beer or soft drink; mineral water or soft drink are available for children).
• After lunch, visit St. Stephen’s Basilica.
• Drive along Andrassy Avenue, passing by the Hungarian State Opera House, 19th-century mansions and more. 
• Visit Heroes’ Square.
• During the tour, you’ll also pass by Vajdahunyad Castle, located within City Park.
• 5 PM: Return to the hotel.

The rest of the day at your leisure. Dinner is at your own expense.

Day 3

7-10:30 AM: Buffet breakfast at ARAZ restaurant.
A day at your leisure. Lunch is at your own expense.
8-10:30 PM: Farewell dinner at the hotel with 1 complimentary drink* per person. *(your choice of a glass of wine, beer, or soft drink plus coffee or tea, and water). 

Day 4

7-10:30 AM: Buffet breakfast at ARAZ restaurant.
The rest of the morning at your leisure until checkout.
Check out of the hotel by 10 AM.

* Strudel-making demonstration: with minimum 15 participants.
** The minimum age to consume alcohol is 18 years. Age is determined at the time of travel with valid, government-issued ID.

• All visitors will be subject to a security check upon entering the House of Parliament.
• Prohibited items include oversized bags, weapons, explosives or blasting agents, and packages or objects capable of causing personal injury, such as gas spray, pyrotechnic devices, etc.
• Colorless non-alcoholic drinks, liquid medication or other special food, such as baby formula, are permitted in the Parliament building but must be contained in an unbreakable plastic bottle with a maximum volume of 17 ounces (0.5 liter).
• Such bottles are subject to the security check. Any bottles with a size, material or contents different from the above must be left in the cloakroom.
• Please be aware that photography is forbidden in some places within Parliament.
• Due to parliamentary or state events, visits may be cancelled even as late as immediately prior to admission.

You understand and acknowledge that participating in DreamTrips is a benefit of DreamTrips Membership; therefore, your monthly membership fees must be current and paid in full at the time of travel. If you book a DreamTrips package and cancel your membership, or your membership is in inactive status at the time of travel, you understand and acknowledge that your trip will be cancelled and subject to refund as outlined in the cancellation policy for your particular trip.

Travel is unpredictable and country restrictions due to COVID-19 change regularly; please understand that the policies below apply and you are encouraged to purchase travel protection.

Cancellation Policy*: If you cancel 76 days or more before the start date of your trip, you will get a refund less a fee of US$100. If you cancel within 75 days of the start date of your trip, your trip will not be refunded. All fees are applicable on a per-person basis.

*This cancellation policy is subject to rules and regulations in applicable jurisdictions in which our travel supplier is based. In the event of conflict between the cancellation policy displayed here and cancellation terms in supplier booking terms, the more restrictive of the two terms will prevail.

Name Change Policies: Name changes are not permitted for the DreamTrips Member(s) who booked this trip and are only allowed for people who are traveling with said booking member. Name changes must be done no later than February 28 and are subject to a fee of up to US$100. Name changes after this date are not allowed.

Transfer Policies: Booking transfers from one member to another member are not allowed on this trip.

• Each individual, including each child, who is coming along with you on your DreamTrip is required to have a booking prior to the commencement of the trip. If you do not book and pay for each such person in advance of the trip, you will be charged the hotel’s then-current rate, not the trip price, for each such person at the time of your check-in.
• Pricing for children is based on their age at the time of travel and may be subject to additional terms and conditions of individual hotels and all-inclusive resorts. Also, pricing for children can vary, and may be higher than pricing for adults. Therefore, before you book any travel, please check the relevant hotel or resort website for applicable terms and conditions as well as details regarding their pricing structure.
